A Visit to a Local Sustainability Farm in Phuket

As part of our journey in Phuket, Solid Align ventured beyond the dining space to explore the origins of ingredients — visiting a local sustainability farm that reflects the foundation of thoughtful, land-driven agriculture.

As part of our continued work in Phuket, Solid Align extended the journey beyond the kitchen exploring the origins behind the ingredients that shape the dining experience at AIM Phuket.

Along the way, we visited a local sustainability farm a community-based learning center supported by Thailand’s Department of Land Development, dedicated to soil care, land restoration, and sustainable agriculture. Set within the Ban Pa Khlok Sufficiency Economy Learning Center, the space reflects a grounded approach to farming rooted in long-term ecological balance.

Hosted by K’Kwang, we were welcomed with a simple, thoughtful lunch ingredients freshly picked straight from the garden, prepared with care and quiet generosity. The experience offered a moment of pause, revealing a different layer of the story we set out to capture.

It was a reminder that every refined dish begins long before it reaches the table shaped by land, people, and the unseen processes behind each ingredient.
