About The Blursed Sandwich Exhibition
Welcome to Blursed Sandwich.co
We fast forward to the year is 2067 AD. Monkeys now rule the Earth in place of humans. Don’t worry, this exhibition is where you may rest in the state of the in-between, as coined by the internet slang, the state of being Blursed, to be both blessed and cursed simultaneously. Looking back at the legacy that the previous generation has built and left in the face of ever-changing values, while speculating on the near future based on technological advances, climate crisis, war, paranoia, and societal concerns, it seems unlikely that we will plunge towards a hopeful one. As humanity began its self-destruction in the 21st century, now, we are trapped in the glory of the past, carrying our generational trauma into the vague prediction of the years to come.

เราข้ามเวลามาสุ่ปีคริสตศักราช 2067 ณ ช่วงเวลาที่ลิงยึดครองโลกแทนที่มนุษย์ ไม่ต้องกังวลไป ในนิทรรศการแห่งนี้ คุณสามารถพักผ่อนในสภาวะก้ำกึ่ง หรือที่นิยามโดนแสลงในอินเตอร์เน็ตว่า Blursed ภาวะที่ทั้งเป็นมงคล(blessed) และก็ต้องสาป(cursed)ไปพร้อมกัน เมื่อมองย้อนกลับไปดูมรดกตกทอดที่คนรุ่นก่อนสร้างและทิ้งไว้ให้ ท่ามกลางคุณค่าของสังคมที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไปอย่างไม่หยุดยั้ง พร้อมทั้งคาดเดาถึงอนาคตอันใกล้โดยอ้างอิงจากความก้าวหน้าทางเทคโนโลยี วิกฤตสภาพภูมิอากาศ สงคราม ความระแวดระวังภัย และปัญหาสังคม ดูเหมือนว่าเราคงจะไม่น่าก้าวไปข้างหน้าอย่างเต็มไปด้วยความหวังกันนัก ในขณะที่มนุษยชาติเริ่มทำลายล้างตัวเองในศตวรรษที่ 21 ณ ตอนนี้เรากลับถูกกักขังอยู่ท่ามกลางความรุ่งเรืองในอดีต พร้อมทั้งแบกรับบาดแผลทางจิตใจที่ส่งต่อจากรุ่นสู่รุ่นไปยังอนาคตปีข้างหน้าที่ยังคลุมเครือ

How far have we departed from the natural way of life? Yet how far are we away from our imagined utopia? Are we navigating our lives with purpose or aimlessly drifting in the stream of this late-stage capitalism?
Two human artists, Anxiety Storage(Napatsakorn Nikornsaen) and Uninspired by Current Events(Saratta Chuengsatiansup), are tasked to deliver you this glimpse into the future using absurdity as a defense mechanism. In this state where we can still enjoy tasteful art and a tasty sandwich, we would like to invite you to a reimagination of the past, the present, and the future. Whether you were to assume the role of a human filled with hope and worries, or to abandon your sense of logic and see the reality of modern human society as another species, is all up to you. However, we advise you to let absurdity take the lead and enjoy the ruins of human society as you proceed into this exhibition.
ไกลแค่ไหนแล้วที่เราได้พรากจากชีวิตอันเป็นธรรมชาติ? หากแต่ในความไกลนั้น เราห่างจากโลกในอุดมคติแค่ไหนกัน? เรากำลังใช้ชีวิตอย่างมีจุดหมายหรือเพียงแค่ล่องลอยไปตามกระแสแห่งยุคปลายของโลกทุนนิยมกันแน่?
